This is part of a long standing international campaign against Ahava, the Dead sea products company which is based in a settlement in the West Bank. The PF trade fairs in Manchester and London are Ahava's biggest singll opportunity to gain business in this country, and because there have been two important reports published recently highlighting this company and Israel's illegal 'pillage' of the Dead Sea, its a really important target.

Water water everywhere and not very much to drink

The progress to half marathon fitness has been slowed by an infected toe and a lingering virus. But today i go out running and, for the first time, have some water with me. I don't really like running with something in my hand but it seems a sensiblle thing to do. The toe infection has not quite gone and this probably makes me run with an odd gait and makes me look odder than usual, I assume. So what?

Sporting ties with Israel is moral abdication

This morning I listened to Jensen Button, racing in F1 in Bahrain on Sunday, proclaimed he is a racing driver and should be interviewed as such; not questioned about the events external to his driving.

The breathtaking ignorance of this statement is compounded by the lack of comment attached to it by the subsequent report.
